Barcelona midfielder Pedri Gonzalez has hit out at UEFA for their habit of selecting referees to oversee their games. Most recently losing 4-3 to Inter Milan in the second leg of their semi-final.

Including the clashes that were ignored many times, causing the 22-year-old player to complain like a bear eating honey.

Pedri slammed the Polish referee: 

“This is not the first time something like this has happen to us. In the performance of the referee: UEFA must investigate.”

“There were many things I didn’t understand, and the referee team explained things vaguely.” 

“Both the moment when Lavigne was tackled but not penalized. Or the subsequent foul that ended the game. The referee did not even give Henrikh Mkhitaryan a yellow card. Which if he had been shown a yellow or red card, would have meant a red card and a red card.” 

“It’s a brutal result, it’s true that the team gave it their all and deserve to be in the final. But we are a young team and we will learn from this and come back stronger next season.”
