PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi gave Kylian Mbappe an ultimatum that. He had to extend his contract if he wanted to stay at the club. Otherwise the club will need to sell him this summer.

The PSG president has sent a strong message to the striker who has refused to sign a new contract amid transfer links.

The price set by the club is as high as 250 million pounds, making interest in Mbappe much lighter, but Al-Khelaifi insists that the player will not leave the team without anything.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Al-Khelaifi’s statement: “Of course we don’t want him leaving for free in 2024.”

“Our position is clear if Kylian wants to stay. We also want him to stay. But he needs to sign a new contract.

“We don’t want to lose the best players in the world for free. It’s impossible.”

“Mbappe said he wouldn’t leave for free. if he changes his mind It wasn’t my fault.”

Mbappe still has a year left on his contract. While PSG clearly would prefer for him to leave now and bring in a significant transfer fee as a result, the decision will lie with the player. Will Real Madrid make an offer?
