“Generally I like what I saw in the game today. I like to use a number nine but if they are not ready I will not take the risk. And of course in the next games we have Darwin who is ready to play but I don’t think it is good for him to start today after playing three games in a row and we have to look at the upcoming fixtures.”

For the next game, Liverpool will play in the league by opening their home at Anfield to welcome Brighton on November 2 at 10:00 p.m.
